Angel was born in Spain, right in the heart of the prestigious DO Ribera del Guadiana region, into a historic winemaking family whose roots trace back to 1792. His family's wines, known for their exceptional quality, were once sold in Madrid and its surrounding provinces.
From a young age, Angel immersed himself in the world of wine. He earned sommelier certifications from the Spanish School of Sommelier at the Escuela de Hostelería y Turismo de Cáceres, WSET in London (Wine and Spirit Education Trust), and FISA in Italy, establishing a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of viticulture and enology.
At just 17, Angel left Spain to begin his international career as a sommelier, working in elite establishments across multiple countries. During his time in England, he earned the Best Wine List award two years in a row. It was also in the UK that he met the love of his life a Florentine woman. Together, they now have two daughters.
In 2010, the couple relocated to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Angel leveraged his deep connections in the industry to offer VIP access to exceptional wineries across Italy and beyond.
